Bruce McCormack, M.D.
Dr. McCormack, Director of the Neurospine
Institute, treats patients with complicated spinal disorders referred from Northern
California and throughout the United States. He has pioneered minimally invasive
spinal surgery techniques including thoracoscopic and lumbar endoscopic spinal surgery
procedures. He performs reconstructive spinal surgery and has a particular interest
in screw fixation techniques of the spine, transoral surgery, endoscopic sympathectomy for
hyperhidrosis, deformity correction, and the treatment of tumors of the spine.
Dr. McCormack is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who has been in
practice in San Francisco since 1992. See below for information on his training, fellowships, and experience.
In 1998, Dr. McCormack started the Neurospine Institute at California
Pacific Medical Center, which is dedicated to research and advancement of knowledge on
spinal disorders and improved patient care for those patients suffering from spinal
disorders.
Dr. McCormack has written many publications,
chapters, and abstracts on various
aspects of spinal surgery and is a frequent lecturer
at national meetings. For copies of these texts or information on upcoming
appearances, please contact our office at 415.923.3040.
